Villa Margherita

Fantastische plek en super gastvrije eigenaar.

Eine sehr liebe Besitzerin verwaltet vor Ort das Haus, wohnt direkt in der Nähe und bemüht sich sehr den Aufenthalt angenehm zu gestalten.
Dieses Haus ist für die heißen Sommermonate zu empfehlen. Es liegt 30min mit dem Auto von Cortona auf dem Berg. Das sollte man unbedingt beachten. Totale Einsamkeit, keine Infrastruktur etc.
Wer es also ruhig und abgelegen mag ist hier richtig aufgehoben. Im Frühjahr, Spätsommer und Herbst eher weniger, da es dort oben recht kühl und ungemütlich werden kann.

the house is enclosed and you have no distant view. You do have this at the swimming pool. The view is beautiful. The distance to a shop or restaurant is at least 25 minutes. The house is really nice and you have everything you need

Villa Margherita is beautifully situated in the mountains, it is about 6 degrees cooler than in the valley, which makes it wonderful in the summer. The pool is fantastic and offers breathtaking views. Margherita goes to great lengths to make guests feel comfortable. During the week you can visit the restaurant where you can enjoy delicious food for a good price. We had a great holiday.

this property comes with the most amazing pool & pool view possible. the pool is deep with also shallow areas. it allows for great playing on a hot day. the terraces and garden furniture provided all allow for blissful summer days. if it weren't for the pool the rating of this property would have been lower.

Villa Margharita with its surroundings are amazing. It is comfortably equipped and people find everything they need for vacation there.
The large pool with sun beds provides a pleasant place to relax, from which there is an incredible view of beautiful hills around, breathtaking views of the landscape and the sunset.
But also it is Margherita's family, living in the close villa, who gives the place it's charm beauty. They all are very helpful, generous and really nice. They make you feel welcomed in their restaurant, where you can taste so delicious Italian dinner - I so recommend it. There was no problem with anything even though their communication was from 99% in Italian, but at least one learns some new Italian words :)
For sure, we'll come back again.

Ganz tolle Villa für einen fantastischen Familienurlaub. Das haus ist gemütlich und der Garten auf mehreren Ebenen, sehr schön angelegt. Cortona ist wunderschön und die Umgebung auch. Aber einfach mal eine Woche am Pool liegen und die Aussicht geniessen, grillen und essen und besten Wein trinken muss auch mal sein! Dafür ist das Haus ideal!

What a wonderful villa in a totally peaceful location surrounded by the best views in the world. Serena and Margherita were wonderful owners, making us so welcome. This is a great place to tour Tuscany - we will most definitely be back. Thank you all.

Villa Margherita is situated in Bagnole, up in the mountains near Cortona. It can be reached by driving an unpaved road ending up at a small community in an 'agritursimo' setting. The house is surrounded by trees, providing pleasant shadows during hot summer times. Villa Margehrita is decorated nicely with all necessary amenities. The view from the house to the area is sensational, panoramic. The pool is large and nice and for exclusive use, it is situated about 30 meter away from the house, and does provide almost, but not full privacy. The pool is kept clean by the housekeeper on a regular basis. The owners of the house are very, very friendly and helpful. The nearest restaurant or supermarket can only be found 20 minutes drive away. We really loved our stay at Casa Margherita. Thank you Serena!

Nice pool, it isn't directly near the house, so you can't see the house - pool. The view is excellent!
