Beautiful villa among the rolling hills surrounding Cortona.
The position of the villa is close to Cortona and the larger cities that both Tuscany and Umbria have to offer: Montepulciano, Siena, Florence, Assisi, Perugia, Montalcino, as well as Lake Trasimeno. Outside guests can enjoy a shaded area with barbecue and woodburing oven.
The property owners live nearby and while they are very friendly and welcoming people, at all times they respect the privacy of guests staying at the villa.
Available to guests: Private swimming pool (12 x 6 m – max. depth 2 m – min. depth 1.3 m), outisde area furnished for dining al fresco. The house has a laundry room, Wi-Fi internet connection and parking availability. Table tennis.
Pets are welcome, strictly upon request (at an extra charge)

It was a very special place, and the hosts could not have been easier to work with. There is very litttle to do near the village without a car, but a short walk talks you to the Valdevino bar, which was delightful.

Wir hatten eine sensationell schöne Woche in dem wunderschönen alten Bauernhaus. Es liegt absolut ruhig und idyllisch und alles ist sehr liebevoll gestaltet. Die Familie Cherubini war super freundlich, hilfsbereit und zu jeder Zeit erreichbar, wenn wir Fragen hatten. Besonders toll sind die schattenspendenen Bäume unter denen wir gegessen haben und der tolle Poolbereich mit Tischtennisplatte. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

What a great find! The house was better than advertised online with all amenities we needed. The pool area and the outside dining area are the highlights. We hiked into Cortona each morning and found the location to be great for day trips around the region. Serena was very hospitable and addressed any questions we had. We will definitely be returning soon!

Jeg synes, det var et virkelig skønt gammelt hus. Der var atmosfære, og der var god plads til vores 10 personer store familie. Det var overdådigt med som mange badeværelser, og der var veludstyret med køkkentøj. Det var rimeligt nær indkøbsmuligheder og nær den dejlige by Cortona, men samtidig ude på landet. Vi var meget tilfredse.

Loved our stay on this dreamy property.Suggestions of things to do:Wine tasting at Palazzo Vecchio and lunch at Dagona. Trips to nearby Montepulciano, Pienza, and Monticchiello. Dinner in Cortona at Ambrosia and Baracchi. Coffee at Tuscher. Cooking class at Ambrosia. Dinner at Tempero. Stay away from La Loggetta. They served us raw chicken and explained why that was ok and other issues. Dinner at Dolci Colline is a must! But you have to call Enrico and Elena to let them know you are coming because they will cook just for you. You have to decide on the menu ahead so they can shop. We had the most magical evening there. It’s just outside nearby Castglion Fiorentino.

This villa really met our expextations, the main areas are good (living and outside), the pool is enorm and the villa is located on a very nice spot in Tuscany with a nice view. With three kitchens we also always had enough space to cook for a big group. About the rooms, in every room there is a airconditioning. The hospitality of the owner is great, with a fast and nice check-in, check-out and fast reactions if we had a question. We had a lot of fun. The only (real) negative part were the short beds, especially for Dutch guys (2m).

My family had an absolutely wonderful experience in Italy. Serena and her family were so welcoming but not intrusive. The property was beautiful and the area was the best and so convenient for us to get to all the areas of Tuscany we wanted to see. Highly recommend this property!
