Montegufoni, Guardiano

Eine wunderschönes Schloss in einer tollen Umgebung. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr freundlich, die Zimmer sind sehr schön und groß.

Our stay at Castello Montegufoni was simply magical. The castle's historic charm combined with modern luxury provided an exceptional experience. Valentina's warm hospitality made us feel incredibly welcome. The accommodations were elegant and comfortable and the restaurant is very, very good. Ideal for exploring the region, this castle is a true Tuscan gem. Only thing to note: pack mosquito repellent, the pool area becomes a bloodbath after 16:00.

I absolutely loved our stay here, I wish we had more nights! The castle is beautiful, the pool was amazing, the restaurant was delicious. I really can’t complain about anything. I will absolutely be back!!

This was our favorite stay of our entire trip to Italy. It was so incredibly beautiful and serene. We only stayed three nights and I wish we had stayed a whole week or more to really enjoy the area, the pool, and relax. The grounds are beautiful and so relaxing. I will be back for sure. The highlight of our trip!

The experience in the Montegufoni castle is really authenthic. The surrounding scenery is just breathtaking nature, as there is a nice 4.5km circular path around the wineyards, clear hills and occasional farm houses, great for walks. There is a nice secluded pool, and a couple of different areas of the castle which were great for chilling out, reading a book or just enjoying the sun. There is a restaurant/bar which works only in the evening, but there were some close local trattorias and wineries a couple of kilometers around. We had an appartment with a fully functioning kitchen (with gas stoves, pots, cutlerry and even mocca pot), so we could prepare meals and coffee for chilling at the terrace. You definitively need a car for this location, as the closest supermarket is in a village 5km from the castle, and nothing is provided in the appartment (we had to buy additional toilet paper, olive oil and coffee). The receptionists and workers were pleasent and helpful.

Stunning location with the most beautiful grounds. We were a little nervous about the reviews but so pleased we went anyway. The castle felt like we had gone back in time. The pool was clean. The restaurant at night was convenient. Wish our car was smaller to navigate the tricky roads, but that’s everywhere in Chianti. You need a car to stay here. No salt/ pepper/ coffee or oil, so make sure to do a full shop if you want to spend anytime for meals at the accom. There aren’t a lot of choices for breakfast etc. it would have been great if this was available. Loved our stay all in all!!

It’s a lovely castle and absolutely beautiful location. The staff are so friendly and helpful. When they say you need a car, listen! We did not have a car and took the bus. We had to walk 15 mins all uphill. Read the website about what is and is not included. Would stay again!

This is an amazing place if you want to experience Tuscany at a special location with panoramic view. Everyone working at the place is very friendly and helpful and makes you feel welcome. If you're a frequent airbnb guest and used to stay in other peoples houses/apt, you should be aware that this place is more like a hotel in the sence that the kitchen isn't equiped with salt, pepper etc. However there is a supermarket close by that has everything you need. We were very happy with our stay and would recommend it to anyone traveling to Tuscany.

My girlfriend and I chose this castle in Tuscany well because you’re staying in a castle!!! Our stay here was so great. They have a restaurant on site that is delicious. The best part about this place is how centrally located it is to Florence and the surrounding area. We were able to explore a ton of places. The area is beautiful and is covered with great food and wine! We can’t wait to come back. A true hidden gem of Tuscany.

Location adatta per vivere e provare la capitale del Chianti per un soggiorno rilassante all’insegna del buon vino. Host ospitali e disponibilissimi a consigliarti i posti giusti da visitare.

Extérieur incroyable, piscine très sympa. Idéal pour faire de belles photos. Bonne situation près d’une ville avec restaurants, supermarché, pharmacie. On est vite à Florence. Places pour se garer. Logement spacieux , il manque juste un micro ondes, car plaque de cuisson gaz, ce n’est pas simple à utiliser quand on a pas l’habitude. Personnel à l’écoute

I spent three days with my friends in the excellent location -Castello di Montegufoni. The atmosphere of antiquity and the beautiful scenery. This place is worth visiting.
