Villa Elaia

We had the pleasure to stay here in Sept 2025 and the Villa is pretty much as described on the pictures with great comfort, ease of access and a superb host. There are plenty of excellent tavernas nearby and within walking distance. We loved Agios Spiridon beach which a 5 mins drive and is calm and perfect for families with all required amenities. Not at all a criticism on the property but being on an island and country side does mean mosquitos for which we recommend mosquito sprays to ensure no discomfort at arrival. Acharavi is a great town with all required amenities and within 5 min drive. We would absolutely come back to all that North Corfu has to offer, which is plenty of.

This is a lovely quality villa with tastefully furnishings set in a quiet peaceful area. A car is essential to make the most of the area but there are tavernas and a huge beach within walking distance. A short drive gets you to the nearby town for shopping and many restaurants and bars. Athanasia who looks after the villa is lovely and extremely helpful. The pool is cleaned regularly and the views from the roof terrace are spectacular.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Villa Elais. The house is lovely, with comfortable beds and stunning views (particularly from the two large roof terraces), and the area is peaceful and rural. The beach is only about 13 minutes' walk down a very quiet lane, and there are several decent tavernas there. The wider area is beautiful, as well as convenient (with several supermarkets only 5 mins' drive away in Acharavi). The pool was kept in great condition (although it is worth noting that it's not deep enough to dive into). The owner was a very friendly and helpful host.

We had a wonderful stay at the villa with our 2 year old boy. Very family friendly and chill! Great location with walking distance to the beach and tavernas. Great garden with cooling swimming pool, olive trees and several chill out zones. Would highly recommend staying at Villa Elais

Super schöne Villa; mit allen Annehmlichkeiten. Der Pool ist zur jeder Tageszeit fantastisch. Die Gastgeberin ist immer zu erreichen bei Problemen und sehr hilfreich. Alles in einem wirklich empfehlenswert.

We had a fantastic stay at this villa! The property is spacious both indoors and out, with plenty of comfortable seating areas to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The pool was a real highlight—clean, well-maintained, and perfect for cooling off. The location is great too, with restaurants and the beach within easy walking distance, and the surrounding area is lovely. It’s also conveniently just an hour from the airport. While communication with the agent was a bit challenging at times, the host was always easy to contact and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, a great experience and we’d happily return!

Great place for an early season break. Peaceful but very well located for everything you might need.

Die Unterkunft war wirklich wunderschön – ein großes Haus mit zwei Zimmern und allem, was wir brauchten. Für uns als große Gruppe war es besonders wichtig, dass es auch einen Pool gab. Dieser war sehr sauber, luxuriös und in einem ausgezeichneten Zustand. Was uns besonders beeindruckt hat, war die Freundlichkeit von Atanasia. Sie war unglaublich nett und hilfsbereit. Auf diesem Weg möchte ich mich noch einmal herzlich bei ihr bedanken und sie ganz lieb grüßen. Ich kann die Unterkunft zu 100 % weiterempfehlen!

Lovely house. Lovely host. Location was good - a short walk to the beach and a good restaurant . A car is needed to venture further afield - a short drive to the nearby town and other beaches and restaurants.

Très belle maison au calme. La plage est accessible a pied facilement.

Lovely house - great location 5 min drive to Acharavi, 10 min walk to beach, but on its own so totally quiet. Bedrooms lovely and comfortable, great a/c to sleep well on hot nights. Really well furnished kitchen, lovely terraces on all 3 floors including roof.

Fair sized plot of land, and nice pool, although to be honest we went to the beach every day and swam in the sea. You need a car, but we got a transfer from the airport then rented a small car

Acharavi is a great little town with supermarkets, bakery, restaurants and a great beach. Kassiopi is beautiful, and about 10 mins drive away.

Owner lives in fenced off bit of same house and is super helpful and always around if you have any questions.

Despite the villa's location approximately 400 meters from the sea, what truly heightened our experience was the gentle, soothing sound of waves that we could hear throughout the night. This added an extra layer of tranquillity and relaxation to our evenings and contributed to the overall ambience of Villa ELAIA.

Another remarkable feature of this property is its four terraces, which provide the perfect setting for you to tailor your experience. Whether you prefer a cool, shaded spot to escape the scorching sun on the hottest days or sunbathing to soak up the rays, you'll find just the right spot.

A significant highlight is the inviting outdoor dining area nestled beneath ancient olive trees. This picturesque setting offers delightful natural shade while offering a serene view of the pool. Equipped with a table and chairs, it's the ideal place to savor meals and moments together.

A fantastic trip with friends to celebrate our 30th birthdays. Lovely villa with attentive host. Recommend hiring a car to aid in getting to nearby towns and restaurants, but can easily walk to beach and taverna. Beautiful location to watch sunrise and sunset.

We were 5 people staying for 1 week in August at villa Elaia. The beach is 700m away, nice and quiet. Pool was nice to scape the heat. The villa it‘s not far from supermarkets and from the friendly village of Kassiopi. Car is need it! Athanasia is the owner and she lives in the other half of the house. She does not disturb and always helpful and friendly. Lots and lots of mosquitos at night. We rented a boat at Agios beach and explored the north east of the island (I can only recommend). Negative point was that the dishwasher was broken, We grilled/cooked/breakfast several times at the villa and the dishes needed to be done per hand. We also thought that could be a little cleaner (specially the toilets) but in general I can recommend the place if you get a good offer.

Lovely house and property owner is very friendly

Plenty of room for four people with great pool and lots of different seating areas to enjoy the views and sunsets, enjoy a bbq or just read a book in peace. Regularly cleaned, nice pool. Maybe worth getting some little tables and plastic glasses for safety. Perfect position close to Almiros Beach, and within reach of shops and tavernas but you would need a car. Everything you need within five minutes drive. Brilliant owner. Drove out to meet us on main road and directed us to villa. Athenasia lives in annex but rarely saw her apart from to shout hello when we saw her and if we needed anything, otherwise she kept very quiet so didn’t feel loss of privacy.

We had a 2 week stay at this villa from 17th August until 31st August.

The villa is beautiful and traditionally decorated.
Well equipped although the bathrooms are small to cater for 6 people.

The drive from the airport to the villa was horrendous!!!!

The Google maps link on our confirmation took us down a dangerous road with a sheer drop alongside it.
Our hire car was wheel spinning and couldn't make it back up the hill once we had realised this wasn't the way to the villa. At 2am this was awful!. The villa owner was trying to assist on the telephone however neither of us knew where we were!
I would suggest clarifying this with the agency when booking! It left us traumatised!

Waking up with beautiful sunshine and peace and quiet helped!

We saw lizards, bats and owls whilst sat round the terrace of an evening this was lovely.

The villa owner lives in the villa. Using a separate entrance. Although she was rarely seen and friendly enough. We would not have booked knowing this. It didn't feel as private as we had hoped.
There's also a caged dog that barks from when it goes dark continually.

The pool was fabulous and cleaned regularly. We didn't take pool towels but the villa owner was kind enough to loan us a set.

The garden is very new so had dirt and rocks so be careful and wear shoes around the pool.

The local area is very quiet with tavernas worth a visit. Especially the fish restaurant on the main road into Acharavi. The most bizzare experience but we loved it. Food was gorgeous! Well let ypu visit before sharing more details.

The food is amazing. Lots of variety and plentiful. We found Medusa on our last night. Worth a visit delicious and friendly.

All the local people were the kindest we've ever met!

We found it more cost effective to eat out for evening meal and a fee breakfasts on occasions. The bars and restaurants in Acharavi are lovely you won't be dissapointed.

Acharavi beach was amazing. The sea was still during the morning then had decent waves during the afternoon.

We hired 2 boats. To see the North West and North East of the island which was incredible. Swimming with fish was amazing. The sea is super warm!

We visited the waterpark which took approx 1 hour travelling. It was so quiet and the children loved it.

Corfu Town was again 1 hour away and worth a visit although it gets so warm during the afternoon. Definately worth a visit. Some fabulous food and little shops.

Una casa muy cómoda y nueva, magníficas terrazas y jardín. La piscina no es muy grande pero más que perfecta para refrescarse y relajarse. La playa que está al lado no es gran cosa pero está bien situada para visitar los mayores atractivos de la isla.

The house is beautiful and the beach near by is quiet and relaxing. All rooms are very comfortable and the kitchen area is spacious. We really loved our stay here :)

The best one can expect. Everything turns out like described on the website! 500 metres to the beach and restaurants. Take a one hour ride to visit Korfu City. Visit the highest mountain (by car or walking). we loved hiking, there are lots of lovely tours nearby. If you prefer a relaxed and quiet holiday, that`s the place to be. No frills.

We recently returned from a stay at this villa. I was a little reticent to book it, because it had no reviews, but the host is a premier partner so I took a gamble and I'm so glad I did. We had a little difficulty finding it, due entirely to lack of service on our phones. The property manager Athanasia was amazing. She came and met us and we followed her in. A car is essential, but the location and the villa are just stunning. The photos do not do it justice. It's a 5 minute drive to the nearest town, with supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacy etc. The villa had everything you need in it. Its around a 10 minute walk to the beach and to the nearest taverna. The food at the tarvena is excellent. The location is quite rural so if you are looking for a peaceful, tranquil break within easy reach of the beach and amenities then this is the place for you. It was around an hour's drive from the airport and Corfu town. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.
