C'est l'endroit idéal pour s'immerger dans ce que l'Italie a de plus beau, à savoir son architecture. Les appartements ont gardé leur style d'époque, c'est vraiment chouette ! Piscine agréable, belles terrasses, beau parc et bon restaurant. C'est assez grand pour qu'on n'ait pas l'impression de se marcher dessus (avec les autres hôtes)

Stunningly beautiful historic castle with a beautiful pool. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy Tuscany. I recommend it highly. Our room was superb. Absolutely outstanding and we will definitely be back.

Staying here was like stepping into a fairytale, surrounded by stunning scenery, character and history. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. It was very warm when we stayed so we took advantage of the pool and fans provided in the bedrooms. Excellent communication and smooth check in process. Highly recommend booking dinner on the terrace if you can.

Quite literally the most amazing place we have stayed! We loved reading about the history of the castle and getting to live in it for a few nights. The surroundings were beautiful, reception was friendly and helpful with suggestions, and the restaurant food was fantastic. We loved spending time hanging out in the castle and exploring the surrounding areas. We hope to come back soon!

Wow! What a stay in this beautiful castle. Every corner we discovered was an experience and the pool area was a dream to relax and recharge.

Castello di Montegufoni was incredibly beautiful and peaceful. The views, rooms, and on-site restaurant deliver a true Tuscan experience. Note that Montegufoni is rather out of the way from major transit. There is a bus route that passes near the castle (37) which was suspended during our stay there. This was not not known by the reception at the time and this provided some confusion and us taking the wrong bus to Empoli. Nonetheless, if your goal is to spend a few nights in an incredible castle I would recommend this place 10/10 times. It’s perfectly situated between Florence and San Gimignano if you want to hop between those two locations. Just make sure your transit situation is figured out beforehand. In my opinion spend the extra $ on taxis.

The most beautiful castle in the hills with fabulous staff running it. Ready to help for day trips advise and local shopping. Just a fabulous place surpassed my expectations. Very beautiful and tranquil with a great pool.

The castle was incredible! Such a different experience. Don't expect a hotel, it is not a hotel. What you can expect is magnificent views, old school charm and a location that is central to good attractions. We will definitely be back to enjoy the pool, castle gardens and restaurant. Thanks for an amazing stay!

On the first morning the Tuscan sunrise streamed into our room and chided us to awake and take in the magnificient view - it was breathtaking! The rolling hills around the Castle Montegufoni over the course of the week changed glorious autumn colours. Our room, was perfectly comfortable - so much so we almost forgot to leave.
The Castle location enabled very easy jaunts around the Chianti countryside (use a GPS!!)
The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly.
