We really enjoyed our stay. It's a wonderful building with beautiful gardens. The staff were very friendly and very helpful.

beautiful place, charming castle, extremely atmospheric and comfortable apartment with a beautiful view. we are extremely pleased with the fantastic service of the reception (Valentina) and the restaurant (Pune & Simone), which are not only very professional but extremely nice and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we will gladly return to the castle

Wow! - that was our reaction when we arrived at the Villa. It is a stunning place with an amazing history. The reception team were super helpful and friendly and did everything they could do to make our stay enjoyable. Their onsite restaurant is open for evening meals, and the food and service was incredible. Our spacious apartment (family of 4) looked out over the grounds and pool and was such a beautiful view to wake up to. The apartment had a well equipped kitchen and was a perfect place to have a breakfast of local cakes and bread! The only thing to note is that not all the rooms have air conditioning (its a historical villa so popping the units on the walls would look terrible! ) They did have fans though and they kept the room cool at night for us. We have recommended the Villa to all of our friends and family already and will definitely go back again. A massive thank you to all of the staff there for making our stay so wonderful :)

The castle was rustic and nice. The amenities are basic, you will need to get your own food, including toilet paper. I really liked the views and it was peaceful, scenic location, you will definitely need to rent a car, no public transport upto the location. I loved the surroundings to walk and explore, its a beautiful stay if you overlook the shortcomings. It was a great deal on Air BnB. The staff was very sweet. There is no service except the check in and the restaurant only for evening/ dinner. During the day and at the pool you need to manage on your own for everything. Overall i loved the place and it was a good deal. I enjoyed driving around Tuscany from this castle.

We had a wonderful week! The castle is delightful and the views are breathtaking. Our apartment was clean and well equipped with comfortable beds and lovely linen. Can recommend the restaurant food and the staff are so friendly and helpful! The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. Valentina at reception does a fantastic job such a lovely, helpful person! All the staff here were outstanding. There was a wedding the weekend we arrived - it was great to see all the excited guests arriving and to watch this all unfold in such a special setting. They had the best time and the music was loud though not too late! Later in the week we had the pool to ourselves on several occasions which was totally unexpected!
Hire a car as there is plenty to explore around the area. Great vineyard tours excellent restaurants and hilltop towns. Florence is in easy reach and only 45 mins from Pisa. Our apartment had a lot of steps but not all do. There is a great little coop in the next town (10 mins drive) and a market there once a week. We had the best time and would go back like a flash!!

Wonderful stay in beautiful surroundings. Only thing missing was that it would be nice to be able to have a bit more servive svailable during the day, such as the ability to buy coffee, etc.

The drive to Florence is short and easy. I found it to be very relaxing after traveling all day exploring the wineries and the City. The pool was nice and the property was amazing to explore.

Nous garderons un excellent souvenir de notre séjour en famille dans ce château. L'accueil est sympathique, l'endroit est magnifique, notre appartement (N°30) était spacieux, bien aménagé,très propre, décoré avec goût et la vue splendide. La piscine est un lieu agréable, le jardin qui l'entoure permet de trouver de l'ombre quand le soleil tape vraiment fort.
On trouve également sur place un restaurant et un bar, des terrasses, une buanderie, un espace wifi.
Idéalement situé pour visiter Sienne, Florence, Pise.

What a wonderful place to stay! Easy to get to many citiies, the bus to Florence worked well and was so close to the location. We would travel during the day and then spend time at the pool and relax. The views were amazing! The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed, very spacious and very clean. We slept well in the comfortable beds. The staff was very helpful and nice. I did laundry one day and it was easy to do and convenient. The castle is amazing, beautiful and one of our favorite things about the trip. I would suggest it to anyone, including families with children that want to be in the tuscany area, great views and also away from the crowds. A small town is just down the hill with a bus stop, stores, coffee, etc. We loved our stay!
